We are currently accepting new members at Berlin Yacht Club. Benefits of membership include participation in all sailing and social activities of the club as well as use of the clubhouse, grounds, docks, and launch ramp facilities. It also includes year-round boat storage for a nominal extra charge.
First year membership dues are $99.00. This is basically a trial membership to give you time to decide if BYC is right for you, but it includes all of the membership benefits listed above for a full sailing season. Regular membership dues, which are paid after the first year of membership, are currently $546.98 per year including sales tax.
If you are interested in becoming a member, call Bob Farr at (908) 875-4529. He will answer any questions you have and make arrangements to give you a tour of BYC, introduce you to some BYC members, and get you out sailing. When you have decided to join, you must mail Bob Farr a membership application to the address shown on the application, along with a $25.00 application fee.

If you are not sure whether you want to become a member, we encourage you to come out sailing with us and get to know us better. We frequently need people to help us sail our boats in races. This is called "crewing." No experience is needed for you to see if you like sailing and crewing. We have patient members who are always interested in showing new people how to sail and crew.
